Your passion for technology pays off with a job at Nordia's Call Center

Frequently Asked Questions

How much will it pay?

You will find more information on this subject in your city’s section.

Work schedule – Can I work on week days?

Work schedules are determined according to the availability our customer base requires in each type of business. As a result, some services are offered days and evenings, others during the week and Saturdays only.
Directory Assistance, for example, must be provided 24/7. Directory Assistance Agents therefore expect their schedule to vary over daytime and nighttime, week days and weekends.
Go to the section concerning your city to check specific opening hours.

Note that several call center agents appreciate almost above all the schedule flexibility afforded by their jobs.

Can I work only 3 days a week?

You must expect 5 days of work per week, according to a time schedule prepared 2 weeks ahead.

Must I be bilingual to have a job at Nordia?

All depends on the city where you will be employed. In Québec (Laval, Québec City and Sherbrooke), we need bilingual agents, with the exception of Rouyn-Noranda where we have French-speaking only agents. A limited number of French-speaking only employees can join our teams. In that event, it will be indicated in the Training Session Calendar for those two Call Centers. Employees in our Kitchener, Orillia and Nanaimo Call Centers can be English-speaking only. It is all a matter of adjusting our service to customer needs.

How many people are employed at Nordia?

We currently have over 2000 employees throughout our 7 existing sites across Canada.

How are the work schedules organized?

The schedules vary, but they are posted two weeks ahead. Work shifts begin every 15 minutes; they are adjusted according demand in services for each type of business.
